I've been so stoked to own this bike! I did way too much research ahead of buying my first ebike and have not been disappointed after 200 miles of riding thus far. I use it for trips to the store down the street every other day or so, and when I'm not doing that I tend to ride to local greenways or just around my neighborhood with my toddler. The MIK HD racks make it super easy to switch up the accessories of course. I'm super pleased with the level of customization available in the Velotric app and love switching ride modes on the fly. Awesome bike and I'm excited for all the adventures we'll have!
This is a phenomenal bike. I give this bike 4 stars instead of 5 specifically because of Velotric’s unnecessary and frustrating limitations involving the passenger kits and some electronic cord issues. However, the bike is great and the electric issues are resolvable, so: if you are considering this bike, I highly recommend it.
After riding this bike daily for 1 month, with most trips under 2 miles, hauling a variety of weight from just myself to ~50 pounds of cargo, here’s my takeaways:
If you live in a city, this bike can replace your car. It has replaced mine. One of my trips, I came home from work with a pannier full of work supplies, picked up Wingstop and placed it in my front basket, picked up groceries and placed those in my other pannier, and still had a whole back rack available for storage.
Pros:
- Sage color is gorgeous and I get compliments on this bike all the time
- MIK is a massive win, (but you do not have to use it for more permanent accessories. My front basket is “permanently” installed to the front rack)
- The fat tires look cool, give stability and confidence, and work well
- The battery and ease of pedaling is highly adjustable, and with minor tweaking, an incredibly smooth experience.
- The bike does great with hills
- The smart screen is plenty bright, even on hot sunny days. It is very user friendly, and easy to read on rides
- The lights are incredibly bright and the blinkers work great
- The bike holds weight well. I have yet to test it with…
This bike is the best thing I have bought myself in a long time. It is so fun to ride and I can’t wait for all my accessories to come. I’m going to put a Brooks England saddle on it. It’s so stylish. So glad I went with this bike. I spent weeks doing research and watching videos on it. This is the one.

GoMad is designed with performance and safety in mind. During braking, the rider’s weight naturally shifts forward, placing greater demand on the front brake.
To deliver stronger and more consistent stopping power, GoMad is equipped with a larger 203mm front rotor, increasing braking efficiency and heat dissipation.
The 180mm rear rotor provides balanced braking performance. Increasing the rear rotor size further could lead to instability, such as rotor wobble during deceleration, which may impact ride comfort and control.

Custom Mode is an optional advanced speed setting. When enabled through the Velotric App, it allows riders—where permitted by local regulations— to unlock the throttle in Class 3 and reach speeds up to 28 mph.
Riders can still switch between Class 1 / 2 / 3 / Custom Mode anytime on the display.
