    Awesome package

    So I just bought my first Velotric GoMad today with this young passenger seat package. I saw a lot of questions about this online so I’ll address it here for everyone. Kids grow and most parents keep asking online for seat backrests which the other passenger seat kit doesn’t offer. The side orbital rails can be removed, leaving the backrest (with partial side rail) and seat bottom. There are still 3 mounting points for the backrest so it’s on there sturdy, you would just need to fab up some sort of rubber cap for the top of the mounting point for those side rails if removed. Also, I don’t believe the double kickstand works with the standard kickstand that comes with the bike as they touch each other when flipped up (choose which one you prefer I suppose).

    Removable side rails I think

    Can the side bars be removed when the child outgrows the seat? Interested in leaving the backrest on there.

    Nice addition

    Seems well designed to its purpose.

    I feel the dual kickstand should come standard on the Gomad or at least be available to purchase by itself.
