The Velotric Nomad 2 is an excellent fat tire e-bike, perfect for paved roads, off-road trails, and beach rides!

The Velotric Nomad 2 isn’t just about SensorSwap, comfort, and versatility—it’s the perfect companion for any adventure.

I accelerated the bike up to 20 MPH and hit the brake, the brake response was very fast. I can tell you this gear shifting is so smooth that I don't hear any clunking at all.

We liked the bike’s highly responsive torque sensor, which is paired with its 750W rear hub motor. With the ability to vary the motor output based on how hard you pedal, the Nomad 2 feels intuitive and natural.

What features can I find on the Nomad 2 display?

Our handy display features all the essentials at a convenient glance. You'll find app connectivity, top speed, PAS mode switching, class setting (1/2/3), motor/battery temperature display, SensorSwap™ and more.

What accessories come with my Nomad 2?

Nomad 2 comes pre-installed with fenders, rear rack, and a suspension seatpost, saving you the hassle of buying and installing these separately. Additional accessories are available on the Velotric website based on a variety of scenarios. Feel free to take a look!

How can I maximize my range?

You'll want to use Torque Mode as much as possible, and make sure your tire pressure is set to the recommended 30 PSI. If you're a lighter rider, you can increase pressure by up to 20% of this!

How do I switch sensor modes? Can I only do this in the app?

You can switch modes via the Velotric app, or when the bike is stationary. Take a look at the display to verify which mode you're in. Then, long-press the M Button, and you'll see the mode switch. It's that easy!

When should I use Cadence or Torque sensors?

Torque sensors are better for variable-speed riding or rugged terrain, meaning riding will feel more intuitive (as the power output is more efficient and immediate). Cadence sensors feel more relaxed and are ideal for long, consistent rides, such as city roads. Explore each to find what fits your riding style best.

Is Nomad 2 waterproof?

Yes! Nomad 2 meets IPX6 waterproof standards, so you'll be able to ride confidently even in heavy rain and clean it using a pressure washer. All Velotric Ebikes are built to this standard.

Can I set the Nomad 2 to Class 1 or Class 3?

Yes. The default is Class 2 (throttle enabled, 20MPH max speed):

Class 1: Disables throttle.
Class 3: Disables throttle, increases top speed to 28MPH.

Adjust this based on your local regulations!

Will I be charged sales tax?

Yes, sales tax are collected by checkout and will include state and municitexes.

Can I cancel an order once I've placed it?

To cancel a placed order, please contact us at help@velotricbike.com. Submitting a cancellation request before order ship outwill not guarantee a cancellation success. Customers will receive an email confirmation if the order is successfully canceled.

What are shipping costs?

Enjoy free shipping on all bikes across the Continental United States (CONUS). Orders $99 and under will incur a flat shipping rate of $10 per order, while orders above $99 qualify for complimentary shipping.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards, PayPal and Affirm Installment plans at check out.
