Velotric Seat Pad

The seat pad is very well made and seems to be of a durable vinyl material. It secures very firmly to the rack and is comfortable. A couple things to consider: the seat pad entirely covers the top of the rack and all access to the upper rack frame/rails. So if you intend to use any other accessories, like rear baskets or pannier bags, you will need to figure out a way to work those together. As designed, if you use the seat pad, you won't be able to attach other rear rack mount accessories unless you come up with some work-around. I think if Velotric came up with a way to make the seat pad quick detachable (or something similar to the "level up" rack extension as on one of the competitors), it would be very helpful. The bolts were binding a bit during install--there are a few of them (6 if I recall?) and they are a tight fit into the holes and not perfectly aligned, so it took a bit of stretching/tapping with a rubber mallet to get them all to go into their holes. This damaged the threads a little bit, but not a big deal unless I aim to take it on/off regularly. But those details aside, if you just intend to install the seat pad permanently with no other bags/baskets, you will love it.

Also FYI, some of Velotric's photos and videos show a bamboo frame piece between the seat and the metal frame. That bamboo part did not come with the bike or the seat pad, so I'm not sure what that is. Maybe it is from an older model or something.
