Velotric Go 1

I’m truly enjoying my choice in this velotric model go 1. I’m able to get rid of my car. Yeah it’s cold in the winter here in Denver but it makes me feel great getting in my daily workouts while commuting in less than fair conditions. I think my other bikes are starting to feel neglected.

Customer service is top notch as well. They took care of a minor accessory defect. Effectively, accurately and swiftly.

The Go 1 is a great bike! I was really surprised as to the quality of the bikes parts. Screws came with blue lock-tight on them already and everything feels sturdy and high quality. Putting the bike together was fairly easy, hardest part was getting the front wheel in the brake pad without it touching. Other than that it was super easy and the tools they give you are also good quality. Over would highly recommend this bike!

This is a great bike. I take it on the roads and sometimes on light trails and it works perfectly. I've also got the child seat attachment which my daughter loves to ride. I can do groceries or pick her up from school quite easily and I've had no issues. I haven't had a reason to unlock the speed yet, but I imagine I will do so in the future. It's a great firstly bike

The Velotric Go 1 e-bike is a zippy, smooth ride that is perfect for my small stature. With this being my first experience with an e-bike, I was so surprised at how easy the Go 1 was to mount and operate. The pedal assist feature is unexpectedly powerful and it has taken me a bit to get accustomed to the torque PAS. I love the walk setting which help move the bike along when navigating a challenging area. I also appreciate that I am able to turn off the pedal assist to just ride around like a basic bike. The digital display is a nice touch for observing my speed, progress, and battery life. This bike is perfect for those short commutes to the grocer, salon, or the park. Its handling is also solid. The suspension offers moderate comfort/support when biking on more rough surfaces. The wide tires are awesome and make for a smooth experience.

The two things I would add are an option for a more comfortable saddle and a less cumbersome way to remove the battery. The saddle can be uncomfortable and may not suitable for some people who take longer rides. I do have a concern about the battery compartment. I’m not much into the battery compartment being exposed when removing it on outings. Also, I am a bit worried that the continuous removal and placement of the battery will wear down the plastic components over time.

Overall, my bike is absolutely perfect for me and I look forward to riding many miles in the future!

Very well packed and easy to assemble. Rides well and handles pretty good. I found it handles better by lowering the seat a couple inches and letting a few pounds pressure out of the tires.

I chose the Go 1 to Replace my Car after I retire in 15 months. I live in an Apartment Building and the compact size fits easily in the elevator. A weekly trip to the Grocery Store and occasional trip to Bank or Post Office is about all I'll be using it for. The small size, light weight and carry capacity fits what I need.

Speed and power is more than enough for it's size. I unlocked it to go 25mph, but found that to be a little too fast for comfort, so set it back to 20mph.

Overall a good choice for running around town errands and daily commuter with speed and power enough to haul bags full of groceries.
