Works great on our Nomad 2, it does not fit the Tempo
While this works great on our Nomad 2 e-bike, it does not fit the Tempo. Velotric support was prompt and issued a refund for the one we ordered for our Tempo. Photos of the battery terminal cover near the Tempo frame and beside the Tempo battery attached for reference. Granted the Tempo is lightweight already but since we put them on a Hollywood bike rack, we wanted to be able to remove the batteries and keep the battery terminals protected during travel.

Perfect fit on Summit 1 and easy to use
I have been using a 3D printed battery terminal cover I got from Etsy, and while it worked fine, it is a bit small and only covers the terminal - also while on my bike rack a small bit of water did get under the cover.
The official cover from Velotric is much nicer as it covers a larger area and is much easier to install - pops right in and holds secure. The handle helps a lot. No more worries when transporting my bike with the battery out.
The only thing I would change is if it could come in different colors. Otherwise this is a must buy if you transport your bike with the battery out.

Keeping battery connections clean
When I transport my bike i do not like to have my battery in. This keeps the terminals clean and makes sure I have a good connection between battery and bike. Of course during the winter I remove the battery for storage in a warm room. And again this keeps terminals clean. This is one of those accessories you should highly consider for your bike
