JoltBike Design House is based in Pennsylvania and founded by Steve Smolenski — an engineer, entrepreneur, and lifelong outdoorsman. The company collaborate with Velotric to develop adventure-ready Ebikes for outdoorsmen.
Before launching JoltBike and JoltBike Design House, Steve spent years in the field — deep in the woods, on the trail, and at the campsite. He built his first company as a marketing agency rooted in the outdoor industry, helping brands tell better stories, create stronger content, and reach the right people. That experience now drives everything we do — from product development to full-scale launch videos.
Steve is an outdoorsman who’s lived it for decades and a PRODUCT guy! He knows what it’s like to haul gear through uneven terrain, to scout trail cams before sunrise, and to rely on your machine when you’re miles from the nearest road.
Most recently, Steve co-developed some of the standout features of the Nomad 2X MTC Edition alongside the Velotric team — including the innovative Stealth Mode and the specially designed Multi-Terrain Camo frame painting. These aren’t just cool add-ons — they’re direct results of real-world outdoor experience.
Every detail was created with the mindset of someone who’s actually ridden deep into the backwoods before sunrise. It’s the clearest expression yet of our shared philosophy: designed for outdoorsmen, by outdoorsmen.
Now, through a long-term partnership with Velotric, JoltBike Design House is helping develop, refine, and launch purpose-built Ebikes for riders who take the road less traveled.
