Velotric T1 ST E-Bike

My wife and I bought two at same time. Mine just arrived from an east coast site hers is on its way from west coast. Very well packaged and easy as heck to put together. Local shop couldn’t sell for same price as online so we ordered. They offered to assemble for 79.00 each 😂. I could put it together in 30 minutes. We did test ride at the local shop so we knew we would like them. I rode mine around the block and we have a few moderate hills and wow it’s unreal how much easier it is on my 65 year old body 👍. I still get some exercise since we did not want throttle bikes. Looking forwards to getting them on our two great local rides the Swamp Rabbit and the Doodle. Our previous were two Specialized Hardrock MTB bikes so technology is great.

I like my non electric hybrid and road bikes, but I have a hard time keeping up with friends and on hills. I still get great exercise on the T1 ST, but I get a little help with the hills and catching up when I fall behind! It is so light, unlike other ebikes, that I can ride without any assist MOST of the time! And it is so quiet! You would not know it was an ebike. Customer service has been great too, when I had questions.

I live in San Francisco and we have these annoying bumps in the road that go on for block and blocks there called hills very fun to go down going up not so much. Average ride about 15 miles longest ride 34 miles avoiding as many hills as possible using ECO 70% and Turbo on hills 30%. The 34 Mile ride got me all the way down to 1 bar but still had full assist power.

Oh I guess I should mention I'm pulling a Burley Trailer with a 85lb child snacks & water, But I am also doing a lot of work to keep us going at a good pace so its still a hard physical workout . I been ridding for over 35 years and have logged close to 93.000 miles Road/MTB racing touring bar hooping camping ect.

Pros- It is really fun out of the box and any beginner or average cyclist will enjoy it

looks like a normal bicycle and can use most off the shelf parts.

Cons- It went on sale one week after I purchased mine and I emailed asking for some swag and all I got

in response were crickets.
